Here goes...I guess I just pick a topic, event or idea and go with it. A topic .... hmmm...how about "what's important to me". My family of six is important to me. There's the love of my life~ my husband the hockey coach and cook in the house, my oldest ~my son the hockey player, my girl~my daughter the princess who loves to shop with me, my youngest~ my daughter with the curls and the smile who speaks her mind and our puppy who loves to lick the carpet and cuddle when she can. Our life is far from perfect... we try our best to make each other happy and take each day as it comes. We live a few provinces away from our family: Great Grandparents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Mothers, Fathers, Sisters, Brothers, Cousins and childhood friends. We moved away over ten years ago to start a new life with our son and enrich our lives. It was the best choice for my husband and I as we felt at times our families were too judgemental of our choices in life. For me I felt I needed to be away from the negativity of my parents attitudes and focus on growing as a person to better myself and my family~That will be explained in a future Blog!!~ Sometimes it is hard as we miss out on alot of milestones. We have lost some loved ones and gained new loved ones and have visited and caught up with family and friends on holidays. We have made great friends here and I know I am home now! But I am home where ever my husband and kids are(and dog)because~and I know it sounds corny(thankyou "Tom")"They complete me"!!! And that is what is most important to me.
Whewww...how was it for my first blog-good i hope. Looking forward to many more.
